Christmas gifts for an HVAC or refrigeration tech

The date you have to order by
Nothing here is sitting in a warehouse. Every piece is printed after it is ordered: 2 to 4 business days on the print floor, then 2 to 5 business days in transit. That is 4 to 9 business days from your order to his doorstep, and December is the month print floors and carriers both run slow.
So: Friday, December 11 is the last date we would order on ourselves for something that has to be there on Christmas morning. Friday, December 4 is the date with a week of slack in it, and it is the one to use if the gift is the only thing you are giving him. After the eleventh we will not promise a date, and we would rather say that here than take the order and hope.
If you are reading this in the last week before Christmas, buy the tee rather than the hoodie — it prints faster — and tell him it is coming. A screenshot of the design on your phone on Christmas morning beats an empty box and a story about shipping.
Why not the nineteen-dollar shirt
Search “HVAC Christmas gift” and the first page is definition shirts and clip-art gauges with the needle pointing at a number that would mean the compressor is dead. A tech can tell in half a second, and then it becomes the shirt he mows the lawn in. Every design here is drawn from real commercial HVAC and refrigeration work and read by the founder, a fourth-year pipefitter apprentice with field time, before it prints. We do not print manufacturer, union or league marks, and we do not copy another seller’s phrase.

Refrigeration

Refrigeration work in winter means standing in a box at 34 degrees with the door propped open. Same warm layer, and the number on the chest is the reading he has watched crawl down on a vacuum gauge at the end of a long day. Pulling a proper vacuum is the whole job in year one, and getting to 500 microns and holding it is the part nobody lets you skip. It is the safest design to buy for an apprentice: the number is correct, and being correct is what he is being graded on right now.

I do not know his size
Buy the size of a shirt he already wears and check it against the measurements on the fit guide. Both garments are true to size and cut for a working build, not slim. If the size is wrong, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we print the size you meant and ship it free, once per order — he keeps the first one, so there is no box to mail back in January.
Can it go straight to him
Yes. Put his address on the order and it ships to him. The tracking email goes to whatever address you type on the order form, so use your own if you want the surprise to hold. Nothing in the box prices the gift, and there is no invoice inside it.
Is $34 really the number
The number on the product page is the number on your card. US shipping is inside the price, there is no size upcharge to 2XL or 3XL, and there is no gift wrap upsell at the end.
