Both pieces are cut for a working body, not a slim body. If you wear a 2XL work shirt, order a 2XL. Every size costs the same, so size for comfort and not for the bill.

The numbers below are measured flat: lay the garment down, measure straight across one inch under the armhole, then double it for the full chest. Treat them as within an inch, the way any cut-and-sewn garment is. The surest check is to measure a shirt you already like and match the chest figure.

Garment-dyed means it moves

These blanks are dyed after they are sewn, which is why the black has depth to it instead of looking sprayed on. It also means each piece shrinks a little in the dye house and a little more the first time you wash it warm. Wash cold, dry low, and it stays the size you bought.

Between two sizes

Take the larger one. The tee is boxy at the hem and the hoodie is cut wide through the chest, so the bigger size reads as intended and not as oversized.
